In this article I'll share with you 4 ways to create more time in your online business and even a few ideas on how to make money while protecting yourself from getting a lot of questions from your audience!

I get a ton of questions all the time and it can be hard to keep up and very overwhelming to say the least! DMs from 4 different social apps, emails, text message, comments on my posts on social media, questions on my ad posts.

Its imperative for me to protect my time and with a family and 3 young kids, my podcast, my business, taking care of myself (meditation, working out, learning), it can be a lot!

Here’s a few ways that I protect my time when it comes to being asked a lot of questions:

1 – Build Lead Magnets to protect your time!

When you find yourself being asked a lot of ‘similar’ type questions, make sure you at the very least turn it into a lead magnet like a FAQ (frequently asked questions). Group all your questions together in one place and create a PDF behind an opt in page and then you can just drop them a link the PDF, plus you can probably be answering other questions they have at time AND be building your email list!

One of the best lead magnets (and easiest to create) is a FAQ!

You can also create a free community or group and send them there to ask questions, this positions you as an authority but also gives you an audience to work wit when launching your offers.

I get a ton of questions about LinkedIn, so I have several digital assets to help people out including my free ‘5-day LinkedIn ATM challenge, my ’11 ways to Monetize LinkedIn audio masterclass and my 50 content ideas for LinkedIn PDF.

Imagine how cool of a user experience that is when someone asks you questions about a topic and you can easily drop them one (or more) of your digital assets, add massive value and start the process of building a lifetime customer!

2 – Create a mini course or pre-recorded workshop and make some money while also protecting your time!

Last year I was always getting questions about things like finding your niche, structuring a ‘headline’ or elevator pitch, or creating an avatar.

This was also a very big issue with me helping people make money, I cant help them with that if they don’t know who they are trying to reach.

So, I created a 4-lesson mini course called the Nail Your Niche Workshop. This is an easy solution that I can sell to someone and help them out with those types of questions WITHOUT taking my time.

Charge anywhere from $7 - $97 for this, the price is digestible and an easy ‘first step’ into your business ecosystem, you can also use this as a ‘bonus’ in a bigger course or a ‘value add’ if you need some extra fire power to close a deal.

3 – Use questions to create content!

I recently created a page where I can send people to called “High Value Questions” where people can ask me questions and I can answer them on an new segment on my podcast! It’s another great way to add value while also serving ‘many’ with the same amount of work!

You don’t need to create a podcast or podcast series like me, you can just answer these questions in your social media posts or newsletters.

Also, this is a REALLY great way to know your audience better, they are literally asking you questions about things that they are struggling with!

4 – Create a Digital Gatekeeper!

Make sure that you set the right expectations for booking calls with you in your ‘Calendly’ funnel or whatever booking app that you can use.

You can create a video on the ‘confirmation page’ as well as spell it out on the booking page itself. Make sure you let them know what your expectations are as far as being a client of yours.

Congratulate them for booking a call but also let them know to respect your (and their) time by being very clear who this call is for, and NOT for. I’m saying QUALIFY them.

Make sure to have reminder texts or emails in place inside of your booking funnel, it doesn’t take long to set these up and they go a long way.

Last thing, give them instructions on what to do if something comes up and they absolutely have to cancel.
