I am a proud member of CHG/CompHealth’s fast growing General Surgery team. I specialize in finding exceptional general surgeons as well as trauma and critical care specialists; and creating ongoing and lasting partnerships with distinguished facilities across the nation. What sets me apart is the ability to truly listen to the doctors I work with to find out their ideal placements. I adopt a ‘Kaizen’ approach of constant and never ending improvement in both my professional and personal life. I seek to work with remarkable general and trauma surgeons, and to provide the caliber of service that those professionals deserve.
Prior to CompHealth, I built two successful businesses from the ground up and gained valuable experience in marketing. Just like building a business or an investment portfolio, locum tenens work often requires building a solid foundation in the beginning and then reaping the benefits.
When I was teenager, I was fortunate enough to get a job at the Salt Lake Country Club. As I got older, I moved into a management role which allowed me to create some great relationships with highly successful individuals. Taking my management experience in world class customer service from the Salt Lake Country Club, I combined my passion for automotive, graphic design and web development to become a partner in Speedtech LLC where I managed all aspects of business development. During this time I also co-founded a unique nightlife oriented promotions company where we utilized club type events to brand with products and services that matched this demographic.
In 2005 I left Speedtech LLC and started Bodykitz LLC where I eliminated the ‘brick and mortar’ and ‘kiosk’ aspects of the business in favor of an e-commerce automotive parts retailer that supplies to both consumer and business to business markets. Bodykitz utilized online marketing including SEO, SEM, blogging and social media to capture niche markets within the tuning community.
In 2013 I proudly joined the nations largest physician staffing firm CompHealth (a division of CHG). In 2013, CHG was ranked by Fortune Magazine as #3 on the list of Top 100 companies to work for, right behind Google and SAS. My focus at CompHealth is to connect the industries top general and trauma surgeons with the best facilities in the nation while build recurring and lasting relationships between all parties.
I adopt a ‘Kaizen’ approach of constant and never ending improvement in both my professional and personal life. Kaizen is term that I first became familiar with reading Anthony Robbins book “Unleash the Giant Within”. When I first learned about CHG Healthcare, I noticed one of the core values is ‘continual improvement’ which really struck a chord with me.
Outside of work:
When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and nephew who lives with us. We believe in a healthy and active lifestyle and are passionate about nutrition and fitness. I am an active cyclist and race my bicycle on the weekends, nearly every Saturday I try to ride my bike 100 miles.
